day 04 – a song that makes you sad

Wat mij betreft had deze Day 04 challenge ook 'a song that makes you cry' mogen heten. Want werkelijk, wat een tranentrekker: The Family Tree van Venice. Ik denk dat het nummer niet eens zo heel erg bekend is bij het Nederlandse publiek, simpelweg om het feit dat Venice niet bekend is.

Venice is een Amerikaanse folk/country-rock-band bestaande uit de broers/neven Kipp, Mark, Michael en Pat Lennon. De Lennons brengen eigen composities in de stijl van The Eagles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young en Jackson Browne. De band werd opgericht in 1977 in Venice, Californië. (Wikipedia)
